Fotoz.com – a better photo sharing experience

Share photos and photo albums with friends and family and be assured that your privacy is the #1 priority

Fotoz.com got started in 2004, many years before Instagram. It has always been a family run operation (eg. small budget), and has morphed from one platform to another over the years. The current platform, on BuddyPress, seems to be the best one yet, for users and admins. We are always trying to make it a better social network, and we look to the (near) future when we can finally launch full fledged iphone and android apps. It’s in the works!

But first, we are trying to build our user base and get feedback on what people want from a photo sharing social network. Here are some options:

• Ad free (got it!)
• No personal tracking (got it!)
• Advanced privacy settings (got it!)
• Advanced album and photo sharing settings (got those!)
• User generated blogs and groups?
• Native phone apps (coming soon!)
• No Likes or other tricky algorithmic gamification
• What else?

Fotoz got started as a family project. We are sharing with our family every day and across lots of time and space.
